Our little miracle:Ella Kay Herbers

Donation protected

Precious Baby Girl
Amanda Herbers gave birth early this morning at the hospital in Iowa City, IA to a beautiful baby girl.  Ella Kay Herbers was born Feb 4th, 2015 at 5:45 a.m. at 25 weeks, 6 days, she weighed 1 lb. 13 oz.  Ella is in the NICU at this time, and Amanda is doing well.  Ella is thankfully stable at this time.

As you may all know this is something that can be financially straining on any family. Her husband Tim, along with all their great families are doing what they can to help them but cannot do it all alone.  This fund will help this young family cover expenses that come up with this journey they have begun.  (loss of income, hospital bills, meals, lodging, gas money, parking, etc.) Anything you can give to help them get through this, would be much appreciated.  Please, please keep your prayers coming!  And no visitors at this time, they will all let us know when we are able to visit.    Thanks so much for your support!

Faith:  It does not make things easy, it makes them possible.
LUKE 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Psalm 139:13-18. Praise God for the way He has intricately woven your baby together, first in your womb, and now outside of it. Thank Him for the opportunity to watch His hand at work. Thank Him for forming all of your child's days in His book, long before they took their first breath! Be comforted that He has a plan for them and is in control.

PREEMIE PRAYER:
Dear God, as you look down upon us, We know that you might have to squint. We're located here in the NICU It's the nursery that we rent. ...There are many alarms and sirens, connected to condos and flats. The nurses tape our booties on, and dress us in funny hats. We have a lot in common; All of us were in a hurry. For many different reasons, our storks came a little early. Some of us don't know why, we bursted out from our bubbles. We entered into this world, never meaning to cause any troubles. Mommy and Daddy are worried sick about the odds that we must beat. Please God, help them to realize, that seeing us grow is a treat. Breath by breath, we'll learn to breathe. Ounce by ounce we'll tip the scale. We're like a boat in the ocean, That knows not sink- only sail. For we are living miracles, Mommy and Daddy must simply believe, That you have angels watching over us; From the time we arrive, till the time we go home.
