Ella and Emma's Support Fund

This is a gofundme page for my friend Carly and her beautiful twin girls Emma and Ella

 Carly  was diagnosed at the 20 week scan with a condition called twin to twin transfusion syndrome. Ella was taking everything and poor Emma was getting barely anything. Ella was in heart failure and very close to dying. The only option to save both their lives was laser surgery to separate the connection in the placenta which Carly had the following day. They also drained 5 litres of amniotic fluid from Ella's sac.  A couple of days later Carly had an ultrasound and it showed Ella had suffered a major stroke, a complication of the surgery. She had a huge bleed amongst other problems and the top part of her brain has now died. We were told she wouldn't live long once born if at all. The Doctors were expecting a stillbirth. Now we've been told she will survive but she has cerebral palsy and will need extensive medical help. She will be significantly disabled and Carly will need to be her lifelong full time carer.

I have created this page as Carly wasn't expecting to bring Ella home. Ella and Emma are both coming home but Carly can use all the help and support we can give her to be the awsome mother she  can be to these little angels!
