Meet Eliza. Eliza has had a passion for dance since she was little girl spinning on the tops of her toes in her family’s kitchen. She has spent her life in a small, Northern Michigan town filled with friends and family that have loved and supported her. She has worked hard within her community to achieve excellent grades, and be a good friend to all, while moving and dancing to the music of life.
Eliza has a dream. She is fortunate enough to live near Interlochen Center for the Arts. This summer, Eliza has the chance to make her dreams come to life on stage by attending the Interlochen Summer Camp. This three week camp focuses on ballet and brings with it a smaller, more intimate chance for Eliza to receive one-on-one attention that will only further her talent. With the help of her family and friends she would like to attend this camp and grow not just as a dancer but as a young adult and professional in the arts community.
Eliza is forever grateful for being granted a discount for living close to the center but even with that discount, her dreams are far off in the distance. With your help and the support of others, her dream can come to life.
She is forever grateful for receiving a grant from Family Services Sunrise Rotary for $500.
After that grant she still needs to raise $1,600.00 to pay for summer camp.
Take a moment and remember what it means to have dreams. Dreams fill up our hearts and consume us. For Eliza this dream has the potential to sparkle and come to life with your help.
