Elizabeth's Teacher Training

Many of you know Elizabeth, and have experienced first-hand the wonderful, loving, insightful, and generous person that helps run One Mind Dharma. As a student at Sonoma State, Elizabeth is soon to graduate with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, works at Credo High School with students and families, and is the foundation of our donation-based meditation center in Petaluma.
Although Elizabeth has extensive experience practicing meditation and leading groups at our center, yoga studios, and addiction treatment centers, she wishes to receive formal training in guiding meditation groups.
The upcoming training with SoundsTrue is an incredible opportunity. With teachers like Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Kristin Neff, and many more, this training can give Elizabeth a set of tools to grow as a teacher and leader.
Elizabeth is one of the most passionate people I have ever met, especially when it comes to learning and growing. When she discovered this training, she could not hide her excitement. We plan on sending her on this journey, and would love the help of our generous and compassionate community members like you.
With the cost of living, my personal training with Spirit Rock, and Elizabeth's school, it is difficult to make these things happen. Any support you have to offer to help Elizabeth get to this course is greatly appreciated!
The base cost of the course is $6,700, and we have applied for a scholarship/aid. This cost does not include the cost of travel to the events, reading materials, and other costs. We are putting what we have toward this training, as it is a deep passion of Elizabeth's.
My intention is to ask for your support in helping Elizabeth continue to grow as a person, leader, and teacher in our community. The skills, relationships, and practices she will learn in this training will be a great offering to herself, me, and the community at One Mind Dharma.
