Elizabeth Visser

Hi friends and family! My name is Elizabeth Visser, God’s plan for me was not an easy one to figure out. When high school suddenly came to a close I had no idea what I was being called to do, and my heart was not being called to go to school right away. I was inspired by my brothers who were both in the seminary and my sister who was a co-worker to give a year to Christ, but thinking about it, being a missionary stays with you forever and that year for Christ becomes every year. The Regnum Christi Mission Corps is a Catholic volunteer program that works through evangelizing young men and women.  

 I always knew that I wanted to serve the church, I just didn't know how I could make an impact and throughout the year I hope to accomplish that. My mission year will entail mentoring young girls, running camps, helping the less fortunate, spreading the love of God and youth development which includes camps and retreats as well as faith formation. During this summer I will be going to a training camp and from there I will be sent to Washington D.C. where I will be either living with the Consecrated woman or staying with a host family. God has blessed me in so many ways and this opportunity to serve Him could not be passed up.
