Elizabeth Owens: Rest In Power

Elizabeth never met a stranger and touched so many lives with her warm greetings, her smile, and her huge personality. 

She loved helping other people and bringing light into every situation. If you met her, she'd probably immediately refer to herself as your 'sister from another mother' and you could always depend on her for support.... And then she probably offered to buy you a bottle of champagne. 

We know that she affected so many lives in her community through her "living out loud." So, not only are we heartbroken as a family to lose a sister, but we understand that this loss impacts so many, in so many different ways. Elizabeth was not only a loving member of our family, but she was a phenomenal organizer in NYC for its most vulnerable people. She built hundreds of relationships to not only save lives, but to improve them.




We are humbled at the outpouring of love and support during this time, and appreciate all of the kind words sent our way.
