Eliza's funeral arrangement

Eliza Maitre, born 1999 , was to many someone who was able to turn a cloudless day into something bright. To the world, she is another tragedy, but to those who knew her personally, she was a beautiful soul whose life was taken too soon at the age of 21. Eliza Maitre attended Sheridan technical high-school where she graduated with a certification in culinary arts. She strive to achieve great things and never took no as an answer. With that same mentality, applied and got accepted into Johnson and Wales university where she studied Culinary Arts and hospitality. Everyone who knew her, knew she adored cooking and someday hoped to open her own restaurant named “seventeen”.

Due to the suddenness of her passing, our family is left in shock and unprepared for funeral expenses. This fund is established to cover all funeral and burial expenses. Eliza always gave back to others even when she didn’t have anything, so all donations would be greatly appreciated. We are all mourning and carry heavy hearts for the loss of our dear friend, sister, child, and coworker Eliza Maitre.
