<div>In January, 2024, my wife, Elise Bish (age 36) received results showing that she has the BRCA 1 gene mutation which greatly increases her lifetime risk of breast, ovarian, and skin cancer.
</div>
<div>She was immediately swept into preventative screening for early detection.

</div>
<div>Just weeks later, on March 1, after a slew of hospital visits and tests, she received staggering news. Elise is diagnosed with triple negative ductal carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer. In a matter of weeks, our lives have been turned upside down.

</div>
<div>Elise is scheduled for surgery and facing long-term treatment. We are asking for financial support for the medical expenses not covered by insurance, fertility preservation, complimentary therapies, and loss of income.
If you know Elise, you know that she dedicates her life to supporting others to heal, find joy and pleasure, and to connect with their bodies. She is an inspiration and leader in her community. Faced with the difficult road ahead, she is asking for support and care as she heals and takes time to honor the needs of her body while still building toward a future full of joy and pleasure.

<div>Your kindness and generosity will provide Elise with the strength and resources she needs to face the unknown challenges that lie ahead.
