Eli's MRI and Mayo Clinic Expenses

This is our son, Eli Judah Shirar.  We love him so much and if you know this guy, we know you can't help but love him too.  He's always had a kind heart but when he full on gave his heart to God, man, it just grew bigger for God and everybody!   After years in increasing pain, in October of 2014, Eli was diagnosed with Juvenile Discogenic Disease, which is degeneration and herneated discs in his back.  It was determined that he was born with this disease.  The past 3 years have truly had rough ups and downs for him, as well as for his family and friends who have been by his side as his present life and future become so unclear.  Physical work is no longer possible.  Eli was able to press through for a time and serve on our worship team at Stonewater Church in Linden, IN, as well as teach the Word in some classes.  His chair on the worship stage has long been empty, and much of his teaching in classes has diminished for he can only sit or stand for short periods of time.  We have consulted doctors and specialists in Indiana who have all given us the disappointing news that they can do nothing more.  We have never stopped praying for guidance, help and to not lose hope.  We continue to reevaluate and prioritize our own finances to do all that we can.  In order for us to seek help outside our area, in which Mayo Clinic is the first destination in this pursuit, Eli needs an up-to-date MRI.  We have to pay "out of pocket" for this.  From there, we will need to cover the expenses of plane tickets, motel stay, food costs, clinic and doctor fees to undergo tests that will be required.  We are reaching out for any financial assistance and as many prayers as you can give!  Thank you for taking your time to read this, and we thank you with so much gratitude if you are able and willing to assist us in any way.
