Out sweet little boy, Eli, was born on October 5th and we have been totally in love ever since!
Eli has a right clubfoot, which required casting and a small surgerical procedure. After 5 casts and his tenotomy, he was ready to move onto the next stage - his brace!
The Ponseti bar and Mitchell boots keep his foot from turning back in - without this, all the previous work would be rendered fruitless and his progress would be undone.
We are so very thankful for such an amazing invention to help our baby boy have full, normal, and pain-free use of his foot!!
Unfortunately, our insurance refuses to pay for his bar or boots. And as a growing baby, (quite quickly!!!) he will need new shoes every three or four months, and a new bar twice a year or so.
By your generation donations, we will be able to get Eli's next pair of shoes and bar.
