Elio Espana's Medical Expense Fund

On January 11th Elio Espana cut his hand badly while working on a project. The cut went deep and he has nerve and tendon damage that requires surgery.  The VA has taken care of the emergency room visit and preliminary treatment but will not cover all of the surgery. 

We are Trying to raise this money quickly so we can get him back to work as soon as possible. This the worst nightmare for any tattooer as it means he cannot make money until he has recovered.  Elio has helped many tattooers find there way in this craft and been an important figure in NYC tattooing. 

We are trying to raise this money to help Elio pay for his medical expenses, transportation, and bills while he is out of commision. Elio, like many veteran tattooers, is reluctant to ask anyone for help so we are asking for him. We are asking the tattoo community to help him in his time of need because this could happen to any of us.
