Elijah's Fund for Service Dog

Elijah is currently 5 years old. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 2 years old. He is a very active, funny, loving little boy who everyone falls in love with. Recently we have had an incident where his blood sugar dropped fast during the night and caused him to have a siezure. This incident has caused us to look into ways to keep this scary moment from happening again.  A service dog trained to know when his blood sugar is out of range is the best option for Elijah but is very costly. Since Elijah is so young he doesnt understand what is happening or why he feels "funny" when his blood sugar is out of range so he's not aware to tell someone his blood sugar needs to be checked. This service dog will be able to do this for him and will also become a life long friend! Thank you to all that are willing and able to help Elijah have a healthier and safer life! Update: Elijah is now 7years old!! We’ve been trying to get a Diabetic Service Dog for 2 years now and we’ve finally found the perfect dog and put a down payment on our soon to be service dog. His name is Jax! He is an Australian Labradoodle. I’ve added pictures of Jax to the profile. He’s a cutie!! ❤️
