Elie's Memorial Fund

Donation protected
With a heavy heart, we ask for your help. Our friend and coworker, Elie Ndayizeye, passed suddenly earlier this week. He is survived by his wife and their two boys. As you can imagine, the family is grieving right now. Finances, such as the funeral expenses, are the last thing we want them to worry about.

Elie was born in Burundi on April 24, 1982. At a young age, he left Burundi for a Tanzanian refugee camp due to political terrain. Elie lived in the refugee camp from 1996 to 2008, when he then moved to a Zambian refugee camp and married his wife, Madelenna.

In 2016, the UN granted Elie and Madelenna entry to the United States with their two sons. In November of that same year, they arrived in Grand Rapids, MI. Soon after, Elie began working with us at Profile Films.

On Monday, November 27th, Elie spent his evening socializing with friends. Before his return home, he fell from a second floor stairway and hit his head. The fall caused fatal brain damage, and Elie tragically passed soon after.

The Burundian community and Elie's family could truly use financial assistance with the burial cost. Please consider helping in their time of need.
