Eliana Our Warrior

This is Eliana. Eliana was born on September 12, 2013. Eliana is a loving, caring, sweet hearted young girl and she deserves the world. Eliana was born with congenital heart disease. She was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which is also known as HLHS, meaning she only has an underdeveloped left side of her heart. The aorta and left ventricle are smaller than they should be and the holes in her artery did not properly mature and close and she also has transposition of the greater arteries. She was diagnosed with NF1, a disorder that is characterized with brown spots on her body, that may eventually become small tumors. Eliana had her first open heart surgery when she was only 3 days old, she had her second heart surgery when she was 6 months. Now that she is 3 years of age, she is scheduled to have her 3rd surgery on August 8th of 2017. Unfortunately our health insurance will only pay for a portion of her surgery, leaving the rest of the expenses to our family. We would appreciate your help in our time of need. Anything helps!!
