<div>This project exists to document the reality behind the stage — the discipline, preparation, sacrifice, and personal journeys that define women’s bodybuilding but are rarely seen or archived in meaningful ways.

<div>Behind The Physique follows women through the full experience of competitive bodybuilding — physically, mentally, financially, and emotionally — with the intention of building a long-term historical record of the women shaping this era of the sport.

<div>Women’s bodybuilding represents one of the most demanding and disciplined divisions in the sport. Yet, the experiences of women competitors are often underrepresented in long-form media and historical documentation.

<div>Our goal is to create thoughtful, athlete-centered documentary content that preserves the stories of women in bodybuilding while the sport continues to evolve.

<div>Behind The Physique is producing a multi-episode mini documentary series that will follow 6–8 women’s bodybuilding athletes through a full competitive season.

<div>• training and daily life during preparation

<div>• mental and emotional aspects of competing

</div>

<div>• financial and logistical realities of the sport

</div>

<div>• show-day and backstage experiences

</div>
