<div>The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a world-class organization dedicated to rescuing animals from the global captive wildlife crisis. With over 1,000 animals in its care across 40,000 acres of natural habitats, the Sanctuary provides lifelong refuge for majestic creatures who have been victims of illegal or abusive situations.

<div>The Sanctuary's primary mission is to save exotic species—such as lions, tigers, bears, wolves, and elephants—that were born in captivity and often kept illegally as pets or used for profit. In partnership with state and federal law enforcement, the Sanctuary provides these animals with specialized care in vast, natural habitats where they can live with their own kind.

<div>Additionally, the Sanctuary addresses the plight of America's Wild Horses (Mustangs). Its 30,000-acre Wild Horse Refuge in Colorado restores freedom to hundreds of horses rescued from federal roundups, saving them from a life in holding facilities and allowing them to roam freely once again.
