We need your help so that we can continue to help, support and bring about change to the lives of many vulnerable young people and their families in our community.
Imagine for a moment that you are a young person. You attend school, you hang out with friends, you like some lessons, dislike others, you don’t really know what you want to do in the future, and you barely know what you want to do right now. Now imagine if I told you that we can help you to identify who you are, build your confidence and support you with setting goals that can significantly change your life. What would you say...?
Elevated Minds was born out of curiosity and a passion for blending education and personal development to enhance the emotional intelligence of young people at risk of exclusion or those who have been excluded, and then to develop the community around each child.
We are a Community Interest Company, employing and training young people who were previously students of the CEO when she was Deputy Head and Head of a Pupil Referral Unit. These ex-students are able to relate to young people whilst showcasing the testimony of their own personal development since joining Elevated Minds. They take immense pride in their job role, transitioning from student to teacher and understands the importance of healing and guiding young people to become the best version of themselves.

I am writing a letter of appreciation to express my gratitude, thanks and appreciation to you for the love, compassion and support offered to Kyron during a time when he appeared demotivated and distracted from his vision.
I wish to highlight how much I love, value, and appreciate your hard work, zeal, dedication and commitment, in ensuring that proactive strategies we’re implemented to positively manage Kyron's behaviour and anxiety. You took time to see the person behind the need allowing him to be viewed as an individual and not simply a label. You worked effortlessly to educate him on how best to identify the emotion behind his behaviour, without over focusing on the behaviour. Under your watchful eye Kyron reflected on impact. Under your care, although short lived he truly settled.
Kyron absolutely adored you, I don't know if you truly appreciate what a powerful and inspirational person you are. Thank you for saving my baby. You would have been so proud of him in year 10, no trouble, strong focus and brilliant predicted grades. Thank you for injecting hope and self-pride into him. Your daily words of encouragement helped him to feel the extension of his village. He felt valued and loved. We all continue to feel your love and support even after his death.
All too often teachers are displayed in a negative light. You are a shining example of what teachers should be like in our community. You are one of the heroes of my heart. Thank you so much, your kindness has brought strength to a grieving family.
