Electrostatic / Magnetic experimental build
This is a design that I am building for an experiment, harnessing imbalanced electrostatic charges and counter-rotating magnetic fields.
I have had the chassis produced using SLA printing in order to test fit the motors and other components. The diameter of the build is 800 mm across.
The fund raiser is to generate the money needed to cast the twelve chassis / body sections in aluminium. This is for strength and this metals dielectric properties. The chassis has to withstand a high static charge which is generated by the induction coils.
Any results of this experiment will be freely give to society and anyone who is interested in the project.
I have been able to personally fund all of the parts so far, but the chassis casting I need help with. By funding the build this way, the results will not be owned by a single investor.
My background - I am a 3D modeller and designer in the film industry with a background in aerospace and medicine.
I am hoping to push the realms of what we know and shine focus on propulsion and electricity. Unlike other experiments that I have seen, this build comprises of three approaches and combines them into the one design. It is my belief that the interplay of electrostatics and magnetic fields will yield interesting results.
