Greetings everyone,
I am C, the Creator, and I’m asking for crowd funding due to important family documents, keepsakes and essential for a potential job search.
I wish I could afford that much money to repair. However, because of the current events, my family getting layoff from work, and my job being too slow with little payment, I cannot fix them all. But with your help, it will make a huge difference.
I never wanted to sound selfish, never was and never will be, and I know some of you might dismiss this. However, the current events and struggles prompted me to start crowdfunding.
These are the things I’m having issues with:
The first is my Western Digital USB Passport Hard Drive, which has not been working since February. This one is the most crucial because it contains all of my private files (including my father's), such as documents, TurboTax, and family photos. I accidentally dropped it at the library at University, and it does not read and made strange beeping/ticking sounds.
The price for the repairs can range from $500 to 1250 CAD + Parts ($395 to 988 USD or higher) depending on how critical the damage is.
Second, is my Samsung Galaxy A8, which got smashed by a car. My screen broke, and I cannot turn on the phone as a result.
Similar to the USB passport, this repair is also crucial because it also contains family photos and private documents.
The price to repair my screen costs $250 ($198 in the United States).
With the pandemic being harsh on my family financial-wise, I fear that I will not have enough money to repair them all.
Anything that you can spare will greatly help my situation and my family. I know that this decade is bad for everyone. However, if we work together by helping other, we can make a huge difference.
