THE ELECTRALAND BAND FAMILY NEEDS OUR HELP!
When we say family, we mean it! Where would we be without music? We have over 225 bands/musicians, and we want to help them survive the COVID-19 backlash. If you enjoy our station, and are able, we’re asking for your help.
It’s a scary time for all of us. Imagine your income suddenly disappearing in a moment’s notice. To survive, our musicians rely on playing in front of an audience and on the sale of their merchandise. Most of our musicians do not have alternate incomes. With the country shutting down gatherings and people protecting their own health, concerts, venues and public events will not be an option. The musicians will suddenly have NO income.
We know that they rarely have any savings or back-up resources. They have often spent what little they had to set up tours, to travel and for promotions. Many survive day-to-day. If they can’t play they can’t pay!
We are asking for everyone who is able to donate whatever you can to help! We will be assessing their level of need and dispersing the funds raised to aid in the basic necessities like shelter, electricity and food. No, beer is not included…
