Hi, I am James Jones, and I seek the Office of Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania in 2022, and your financial support will help to make my political goals complete.

With nearly 2 decades of military experience and three decades of experience as a small business owner and community leader, I am exceptionally qualified to lead the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the next Lieutenant Governor. I am the founder and principal at Silverback Commodities & Traders LLC with over 25 years of experience with global governments, energy, military, finance, project development, and engineering.

Born and raised as a sharecropper in rural Luxora, Arkansas, I earned an Eagle Scout badge in the Boy Scouts of America, then I joined the US Navy as a young man. My US Naval experience includes patrol duty in Vietnam, various cruises in the western Pacific, the Gulf of Hormuz, and patrol escort service in the First Gulf War. I completed various US Naval Engineering Studies and Nuclear Biological Chemical training, and also I trained US Navy Seals in the art of unarmed self-defense.

After retiring from the US Navy, I sought strategies to unite citizens in common causes to improve our lives and fashion a brighter future for our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I adapted my expertise to help deliver National Security Solutions for the 21st century.

I moved to Pennsylvania in 2000 where I married and continued my profesison in Human Resources and Petroleum Brokerage. My desire to make a difference through public service led me to run in 2008 for the US Congressional seat in the 8th (now 1st) district, and, in 2016, for the US Congressional seat in the 2nd (now 3rd) district on a conservative platform of economic and job growth, restoring fiscal responsibility, and creating stronger yet safer communities.

I have served in various leadership roles in my community and my county. As a devout Christian and active member of Chapel of Philadelphia, I was appointed to manage the Faith-Based Initiatives in Bucks County under former President George W. Bush and the late Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick. I also served on the Bristol Township Weed and Seed Council, the Berean Institute Board of Directors, and the Philadelphia Prostate Council under Businessman, Mr. Michael Milliken.

I strongly support the family, so one of my highest priorities is staying involved in the lives of my three children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

My education includes a BS in Education, Training and Development from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, an MBA in Business Administration from A. U., and additional studies at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.

The Lieutenant Governor’s official duties include serving as President of the State Senate, Chairing the Board of Pardons and the Local Government Advisory Committee, serving on the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Council and Military Base Community Enhancement Commission, and overseeing the work of the State Police and State Fire Commissioner, which I am well equipped to handle.

My diverse background and experience make me a well-qualified candidate to lead the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the next Lieutenant Governor. Thank you for your financial support!
