Elder Jake Smith Family

It made me very sad today to hear on the news of the tragic accident that happened to a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. (Elder Jake Smith was tragically killed in a head on collision  yesterday, while serving in Arkansas.) Then, I realized it was my very own neighbor just one street over. As I've driven past their home numerous times today, with many cars out in front of their house, my heart aches for them. There is nothing I can do to help lessen their pain. They will have a lot of tough days ahead and a lot of tough emotions to go through. I know that they can certainly benefit from any ease of burden financially at this time, for costs of funeral, as well as the temporal, mental and emotional needs they may have at this time. I realized I have a lot of friends on Facebook and those friends have a lot of friends.....If I can start the ball rolling, of helping this wonderful family during this time, if even just slightly, it is worth doing.
