It is the second international youth symposium to be held in Port-au-Prince Haiti at Le Plaza Hotel, August 13th-16th 2016.
Reflections, lectures, tours, workshops and roundtables devoted to a profound sincere, engaged inclusive reflection on Haiti among 100 competitively selected young students, active leaders and entrepreneurs from Haiti, its diaspora and the international community on Agriculture, Employment, Technology, Climate Change with the greatest experts and influential personalities in the above fields from Haiti and around the world.
The formulation of 4 concrete projects to solve the major problems identified by these youths.
Live streaming and broadcasting to reach out to the Haitian government, universities, civil society, the international community and the private sector.

We are 27 young Haitians and foreigners in seven (7) different countries with various profiles who chose to work together to offer Haiti a quality engagement platform.

Greater involvement of the youth in decision-making process and actions targeting sustainable development in Haiti through innovation and entrepreneurship.

1- The team behind the project
We are 27 young Haitians and foreigners in seven (7) different countries with various profiles who chose to work together to offer Haiti a quality engagement platform.
2- The goal
Greater involvement of the youth in decision-making process and actions targeting sustainable development in Haiti through innovation and entrepreneurship.
3- The momentum
It will be the very first international youth forum to ever take place in Haiti and it will be around the symbolism of the 211th anniversary of the Battle of Vertieres.
4- The participants
The future leaders of Haiti: A gathering of 100 competitively selected young qualified and dynamic leaders from Haiti and abroad to strengthen international ties especially with the Haitian diaspora.
5- The methodology
The combination of "conferences - workshops” will make way for experts contributions and inputs from reflections to project designs.
6- The location
The Henry Christophe Campus in Limonade, northern Haiti, will set the tone of decentralization and will ensure internal movements towards other potentials of Haiti including the Citadel.
7- The validation of the agenda and projects
By the Haitian government, academia, civil society, the private sector, the international community and major development agencies in Haiti will give legitimacy to the projects designed which in turn will facilitate the mobilization of other stakeholders and gain national and international support.
8- Media coverage
The event will be covered by the main channels of radio and TV broadcasting in Haiti and in the diaspora and will be broadcasted live on the Internet.
9- Concrete results
The formulation of a concrete plan through the definition A- of four (4) youth led social entrepreneurship projects, B- the identification of two (2) young business projects that will receive technical and financial support. C- The creation of a permanent direct network between young Haitians and foreigners mobilized to help develop Haiti.
10- Follow up after the event
The integration of the identified projects in a monitoring plan by Groupe ECHO Haiti will ensure the implementation and technical support for concrete results during the year following the event.
