Hello, I'm Michael Atencio, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible wife, Elaine—whom many of you know as "Laynie." Recently, our lives were turned upside down when Laynie was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma, an aggressive form of cancer. We are now on a journey to fight this disease, and despite having insurance, the treatment costs are overwhelming due to high copays and additional expenses that quickly add up.

I retired earlier this year to be closer to our family—our children, grandchildren, and great-grandsons. Just before our move, Laynie discovered a painful lump. After a biopsy, we received the news no family wants to hear: it was cancer. Now, every day is focused on her recovery and fighting for the life we cherish together.
