Elaine's Cancer Journey to Wellness

My dear sister Elaine (Eli) Chick was diagnosed with colon cancer on Feb. 23, 2019. This was shocking news to us both and many of her friends and family. Eli underwent surgery on March 19. We thought it was a successful surgery and we were all praying that all the cancer was cut out. We unfortunately received the news from the pathology that 4 of the 27 lymph nodes that were taken out had cancer cells in them and the diagnosis became stage 3 cancer. The good news is her recent PET scan came back clear showing no evidence of cancer! Because her condition is labeled Stage 3, the Dr.'s statistics state that there is a percentage that some people can have a chance of re-occurrence. We are intending and praying Elaine is not one of them.

With much thought and research, Eli is choosing to partake in naturopathic treatments. She has a great, supportive naturopathic doctor that specializes in oncology with very modern therapies from Europe. She is addressing this life changing issue on every level possible; nutritionally, emotionally and spiritually included. She will be on at least a year long protocol of therapy which will be very costly. There is a very good possibility of total healing! This is our intention and what we are praying for. 

Eli's insurance is only covering the surgery and portion of the hospital expense, and nothing is covered going the naturopathic integrative route.  She is a single person going through this extensive undertaking alone, although she has had much loving support! 

There is power and support in numbers and I ask and pray that she now receives financial support on her journey to optimum wellness.
