Elaine Kobus Medical/Recovery Fund

To all of you out there who know Mike and Elaine Kobus, they were involved in a very serious accident this weekend at Sierra At Tahoe on Hwy 50, when a car going westbound lost control and crashed into the driver's side of their car. Everyone was seriously injured, but Elaine was driving and took the brunt of the force. Elaine was flown to Reno and Mike and the other driver went to Barton Hospital in Tahoe. Elaine is now stable in ICU with significant injuries that will require a lengthy hospital stay, medical attention and recovery assistance.  Mike was banged up, but has been released and is with family.

As we all know with accidents and injuries of this nature, there will be tremendous expenses not covered by insurance that will have huge impacts on families.  Donations to this fund will help defray these additional costs and allow Mike and Elaine to focus on her recovery.

This is a family who has given much to this community.  Here is our opportunity to give back.
