Mi nombre es Alexandra Lúgaro, abogada y empresaria natural de San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Por este medio y en representación de las miles de personas impactadas por el Huracán María en Puerto Rico solicito sus donaciones para sufragar la remoción de escombros en distintos municipios del país; el rescate de personas y animales; el establecimiento de centros de acopio; la transportación de voluntarios, agua y comida y la compra de teléfonos satelitales para facilitar la comunicación de nuestra gente con sus seres queridos.
El dinero recaudado mediante esta cuenta será retirado diariamente para realizar los pagos necesarios para cumplir con nuestros objetivos según descritos en el párrafo anterior.
A medida que se vaya retirando el dinero, se continuará adquiriendo agua, comida y medicina para ser distribuída por nuestro cuerpo de voluntarios a municipios fuera del área metropolitana.
Les mantendré informados de nuestro progreso, así como de los gastos vinculados a este proyecto.
Mi compromiso con ustedes es que la ayuda no se quedará en los muelles o en los Coliseos, sino que llegará a donde tiene llegar... A NUESTRA GENTE.

My name is Alexandra Lúgaro, lawyer and entrepreneur, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
On behalf of the thousands of people impacted by Hurricane María in Puerto Rico I'm asking for your donations to be used for the removal of debris in the different municipalities; the rescue of people and animals; the establishment of Gathering Centers; the transportation of volunteers, water and food; and the acquisition of satelital phones for people to contact their loved ones.
Money raised with this account will be withdrawed on a daily basis to make all payments necessary to meet our aforementioned goals.
As funds are being withdrawed, water, food and medical supplies will be bought and distributed by our volunteers in municipalities of Puerto Rico outside the metropolitan area.
I'll keep you posted on our progress and will inform you of the payments related to this project.
My commitment to you is not letting aid sit in our ports or coliseums, but to get it where it needs to... OUR PEOPLE.
