On Saturday, August 3rd - We got a call from our Nanny, Linda, whom we adore. She told us that her Mother & Father had both been shot in the El Paso shooting.

Linda's parents Nicholasa Velazquez (in her 60's) and Juan Velazquez (in his 70's) were both critically injured outside of the Cielo Vista Walmart.

They had just parked their car in the parking lot when they were approached by the shooter. After being shot, Nicholas called their daughter Linda who immediately jumped in a car and made the drive from Colorado to El Paso.

Nicholasa Velasquez was shot in the face and stomach near her ribs, but she is currently stable.

Juan Velasquez was so severely injured that on the morning of August, 5th he passed away.

Juan is leaving behind his beloved wife, Nicholasa, of 30 years, his 6 children and 15 grandchildren.

Linda has the biggest heart and is always helping others through her church services and volunteer work.

During this tragic time, we are asking for donations for her and her family to help cover the costs of the funeral, medical bills, and Mrs. Velazquez's recovery.

Support of any kind will mean the world to Linda and her family during this difficult time. All donations will go directly to the Velazquez family as they hold a funeral for her father Juan and help Nicholasa recover from her injuries.
