My big sister has cervical cancer. We are unaware of the specific stage, but it is very advanced considering it has spread to othe areas of her body.
She is only doing chemo for now because they don’t think radiation is the right course for her specific diagnosis.
She just finished her 6th week of 9 rounds of chemo. The hope is that, after the 9th week, the tumors will have become small enough to remove with surgery.
The doctor has said she will likely go through more chemo following the surgery to ensure that it has all been romoved.
We're all trying to stay positive, and hope for the best. Tasha is as tough as they come, and is doing everything she can to ensure recovery. However, until that time, these hospital bills are really starting to add up. Anything that can be spared would be extremely appreciated.
