Help Marcia Fight Lymphoma
My name is Bonnie. My mom, Marcia, went into the hospital last week with trouble breathing which ultimately led to a diagnosis of aggressive Lymphoma just a few days ago. I don't think this is something anyone is prepared for. Thankfully because the Lymphoma is aggressive it is also curable.
That being said, there is still a lot for Marcia to go through. She will be starting Chemotherapy soon in addition to other medications. As you may know, Chemo has lots of side effects such as hair loss, severe dry skin, sores, etc. Any money raised will help get products to help my mom cope with these changes, as well as offset medical bills. Skin creams specifically made for chemo patients, mouthwash made for patients to help prevent sores, and similar products are all available however they do cost. Any additional money raised that she doesn't use will be donated to a Lymphoma Charity.
My mom has always been very humble. She has asked me to make it clear that she isn't looking for anything and that donations should be because somebody feels led to, not because they feel they have to. She said she's very humbled and greatful that there is any interest in donating at all.
