Like most of you, we want more for our children than we ourselves had. I am no different in that regard. I am humbly asking for help. My daughter is a senior in high school and has been invited on a 10-day educational tour to Rome, Florence, Delphi, Athens, and Greek Islands, that as you can see may be a once in a lifetime opportunity. She was invited due to being in AP classes these last few years of high school. The trip will take place March 15 - 24, 2019 during her spring break.
This is not a just a vacation or a holiday, she will be learning:
the personalized learning experience engages students
before, during, and after the tour, with the option to create a final, reflective project for academic credit.
I have been raising my daughter alone for almost the last 6 years since her mom was killed during a home invasion. My daughter has had opportunities and invitations to other learning experiences that I have had to tell her we just couldn't afford. Her mom's family refuses to help. I have been able to provide a safe home and everything she could need as a growing child, but it breaks my heart to have to tell her that I am unable to afford the extra things that she has earned the opportunity to go to.
If anyone of you is able to help her go on this trip, it would be greatly appreciated. We are not asking for large donations, but any bit will help and we will be grateful.

We are thankful for every little bit.
