<div>ich bin Kira und Vorstand im <strong>Jugendtreff <em>Knutschfleck e.V.</em> </strong>in der Jakobstraße 161 in Aachen.

<div>Wir mussten schockierenderweise feststellen, dass vergangene Woche erneut bei <em>Knutschfleck e.V. </em>eingebrochen wurde. Dies ist mittlerweile der 7. uns bekannte Versuch und er ist trotz unserer Vorkehrungen und Sicherheitsmaßnamen leider gelungen. In der Nacht von Mittwoch auf Donnerstag haben sich Unbekannte erneut Zugang zu unseren Räumen verschafft. Es wurden zwei Feuerschutztüren, eine Außen- und zwei Innentüren so stark beschädigt, dass sie ausgetauscht werden müssen. Mehrere Schranktüren sind durch das Aufbrechen kaputt. Dazu kommt noch der eigentliche Schaden durch die Entwendeten Gegenstände und die Kosten für kurzfristige Sicherungsmaßnahmen.

<div>Aktuell gehen wir von einem <strong>Schaden von</strong> <strong>10.000€ </strong>aus, was für einen Verein wie unseren ein fatales Ende bedeuten könnte. Denn: Wir sind ein kleiner Verein und angewiesen auf ehrenamtliches Engagement, Spenden und öffentliche Gelder.

<div>Was ist <em>Knutschfleck e.V.</em>?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Knutschfleck e.V.</em> ist ein <strong>Safer Space</strong> für <strong>LGBTQIA* Jugendliche </strong>aus der Städteregion Aachen und damit eine wichtige Anlaufstelle für queere Jugendliche. Dabei arbeiten wir als ehrenamtlicher Vorstand gemeinsam mit zwei hauptamtlichen Mitarbeiter*innen.

<div>Wir bieten einen <strong>offenen Treff</strong> an, der zweimal die Woche stattfindet. Hierher kommen jede Woche Jugendliche und spielen unzählige Runden Uno, Würfelspiele oder andere Spiele, manchmal wird gekocht oder gebastelt oder einfach gequatscht. Dabei entstehen Freund*innenschaften, Selbsterfahrungen und die Jugendlichen finden einen Raum, in dem sie sich ausprobieren und sie selbst sein können. Dieser Raum ist so wichtig, weil LSBTQIA* Jugendliche leider an Orten wie beispielsweise Schule, in ihrem Zuhause oder auf offener Straße noch häufig Diskriminierungserfahrungen machen.

<div>Wir bieten außerdem <strong>Beratung</strong> an. Hier haben wir ein offenes Ohr für junge Menschen, die Diskriminierungserfahrungen machen oder in ihrer Identitätsfindung sind. Wir bieten den Jugendlichen Informationen, Begleitung in ihren Fragen und Unterstützung auf ihrem Weg.

<div>Shockingly, we discovered that last week there was yet another break-in at Knutschfleck e.V. This is now the fifth known attempt, and despite our precautions and security measures, it unfortunately succeeded. In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, unknown individuals gained access to our premises, causing significant damage to doors and cabinets, and stealing our valuables.

<div>Due to the frequency of these break-ins, we can no longer rule out a queerphobic motive.
</div>

<div>We currently estimate the damage at €10,000, which could spell disaster for a small association like ours. We rely on volunteer engagement, donations, and public funding.

<div>What is Knutschfleck e.V.?
</div>

</div>
<div>Knutschfleck e.V. is a safe space for LGBTQIA* youth from the Aachen metropolitan region, making it an important contact point for queer young people. Our volunteer board works alongside two full-time staff members.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We offer an open meeting space that takes place twice a week. Every week, young people come here to play countless rounds of Uno, dice games, or other games, sometimes cook, craft, or just chat. Friendships develop, and the youth find a space where they can simply be themselves, regardless of their sexual and romantic orientation or gender identity.

<div>We also offer counseling. Here, we listen to young people who experience discrimination or are in the process of finding their identity. We provide information, guidance in their questions, and support along their way.
</div>

<div>We once again ask for your support to repair the damage and prevent further attacks.

<div>But most importantly: so that Knutschfleck continues to be a safe space for queer youth!
