<div>Vor wenigen Monaten hat sich Siggis Leben von einem Tag auf den anderen dramatisch verändert. Was zunächst als „gewöhnlicher“ Bandscheibenvorfall diagnostiziert wurde, stellte sich leider als folgenschwerer medizinischer Fehler heraus. Durch die verspätete bzw. falsche Behandlung ist Siggi heute querschnittsgelähmt.

<div>Seitdem kämpfen wir als Familie nicht nur mit den emotionalen Folgen dieses Schicksalsschlags, sondern auch mit der finanziellen Herausforderung. Unser größter Wunsch ist es, Siggi ein möglichst selbstbestimmtes Leben in ihrem eigenen Zuhause zu ermöglichen.

<div>Dafür muss unser Haus dringend barrierefrei umgebaut werden. Zu den wichtigsten Maßnahmen gehören:

<li>der Bau eines Aufzugs in den ersten Stock
</li>
<li>ein rollstuhlgerechter Umbau des Badezimmers
</li>
<li>eine barrierefreie Küche
</li>
<li>weitere notwendige Anpassungen für Mobilität und Alltag
</li>

<div>Viele dieser Kosten werden leider nicht oder nur teilweise übernommen. Gleichzeitig stehen wir vor einer völlig neuen Lebenssituation, die uns täglich vor große Herausforderungen stellt.

<div>Siggi ist ein lebensfroher, aktiver und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Sie ist ihr Leben lang für andere da gewesen. Nun braucht sie selbst Unterstützung, um sich ein Stück Selbstständigkeit und Lebensqualität zurückzuerobern.

<div>Mit eurer Hilfe können wir ihr die Möglichkeit geben, wieder in ihrem eigenen Zuhause zu leben, alltägliche Dinge selbst zu erledigen und trotz ihrer Einschränkung ein würdevolles und selbstbestimmtes Leben zu führen.
