Eileen and Rob’s medical expenses

Hi everyone!
My Mom and Dad are in need of your help! If you know my mom, she never asks for help with anything, but due to circumstances out of their control we have to reach out at this time. They’ve been dealing with a financial hardship for a while and it’s only going to get harder! So here’s what’s been going on in their lives lately.
Eileen has been dealing with a lot of knee pain. It started last October with severe knee pain which led her doctor to schedule her for a bone graft in January. This left her out of work for several weeks with a reduction in pay. Meanwhile, Rob was was diagnosed with a DVT last year and also missed paid time at work while recovering from his hospital stay. This past week the doctors found another blood clot in his lung and he is awaiting an appointment with a specialist to figure out his health care plan.
In addition, Rob’s 29 year old son Paul who lives in England is awaiting an MRI of the brain. Due to health care in England he has to seek private care and is in need of financial help from both Rob and his mother Helen. It is potentially MS, which his mother was diagnosed with in 2006. With their medical conditions and Rob’s sons upcoming medical costs, the need is greater. Eileen was preparing for a new ACL which is why she had the bone graft, but she has fallen (not once but 3 times) and finally got a brace for stability until surgery. She is now scheduled for a total knee replacement. We’ve been waiting since April for a date for surgery and she finally got one for June 11th due to a cancellation. So, good news she has a surgery date, but the bad news is she will need THREE or more months time off to recover. This will create a reduction of pay while on disability and in addition she will have to pay medical expenses out of pocket including co-pays for all doctor appointments, physical therapy and her insurance premiums while not working. This is why we started this page, to help our Mom and Dad and Paul out while they all go through some difficult times with their heath, treatments and surgeries.
