Today the world lost Ian Montgomery Graham, who sailed the seven seas and killed a pirate with his bare hands. Whether you knew Ian for just one burn or you knew him for too many years and memories to count, Ian managed to squeeze a spot of love in the hearts of all he meets. Ian was the kind of person who would drop everything at a moment's notice to help a stranger. The first person to offer a shoulder to cry on, and the first person to call you a friend. The world would be a better place if everyone was just a little more like Ian Graham. And for those of us who love him, the world has a little less joy, though we take comfort in knowing that his last act in this world was to bring life to others.
Losing someone so young is unfair and agonzing, especially for Ian's family, who are the best sort of people and a model of what a loving family is. And they need our help. We want to provide the proper send-off for our friend and our brother, and help Ian's family with the financial burden of an unexpected death. This was not part of the plan, and Ian wasn't ready for this any more than any of us were. Ian's family were the most important thing in the world to him, and he would want to know that his passing would not be a financial burden to his loved ones.
We post this with approval from his mom and sister, and all donations will directly fund the celebration of his life. Any excess funds will go towards a charitable donation to the ASPCA in Ian's honor. If you are able, please donate what you can.
