Help me fund my EP Projects!

Hello friends and fans!  Many of you have followed me and my music career for many years, and I thank you so very much!  I love being a performing songwriter!  What makes it even more special is the response I get from those of you who go to my shows and sing along, or incorporate specific line dances to MY songs!  Do you know how great that feels?  The one thing that gets me everytime though is when I receive an email from a fan stating how one of my songs has touched them in some form or fashion.  Whether it's "Tears in the Rain", helping soothe the mind and soul after losing a loved one, or my new song "Dizzy", and how it's used at a high school as a warm up song for sports.  I don't think any other job can reach out and touch lives like music does.

Well for those of you who have been with me during this journey, I had a CD come out in 2006.  Then I had my EP come out in 2012.  We are now into 2016 and I am once again, way overdue!  I have been performing and writing so much that I want to put out 2 EP's this year!  Well technically, 3, but I dont want to push it too much!  The reason I am wanting to put out so many, is because I write so many styles, and you love them!  So why not just make one big CD?  Well, although I play them at my live shows together, I think they would be better suited as seperate entities.  Let me explain:
I have songs that are really pop country and traditional country.  Those could go on one EP together.  But then I have music that is more bluesy, rock, Americana and Bluegrass.  They seem to fit together as an Americana EP.  After listening to all of them together, and taking advice from my Americana Producer, having my song "Dizzy" and "Secrets" on the same CD, just sounds too weird.  BUT, the beauty of having a couple EP's, is you can pop them into your ipod or CD player and combine them if you want to!

Now being an Indie artist, and a mother, it is hard for me to come up with enough funds to support my EP projects.  I have been wanting to put them out for a few years now, but I have been too shy to ask for help.  Yes I am a go getter on stage and when I need to be, but there still is plenty of introvertedness in me. I don't like asking for help, but I know I need to in order to achieve my goals.  I also know I have amazing fans who would give the shirt off their backs for me, and I love you for that!

So here is the breakdown:  Each EP will cost around $10,000 once it is all said and done. The recording and studio time, the mastering, design work and distribution.    The  EP's have producers and musicians who have a few Grammys in their back pockets and also have music on many  film and TV scores you have heard!  I am fortunate enough to have them work with me!

I start working on the projects next week!  I am heading to Nashville to record the first single off the Americana EP.  So I need to start collecting funds as soon as possible.  I will be posting video and pictures on my social media sites: www.instagram.com/carriecunninghamband

I am really thankful for you taking the time and wanting to help out!  I seriously can not do this without you!

Many hugs to you!

Carrie
