Due to no fault of his own, Mae and Saxon's father is in kidney failure and desperately needs $5,000 to be placed on the national organ registry plus $5,000 to cover immediate medical expenses. Can you give $1 to help the doctors save his life?

About Steve Smith: Mae and Saxon's dad, Stephen Smith, is a loving father of two children, a loyal husband to Mary, and friend to many. He was born with a rare birth defect called a horseshoe kidney. He only had one kidney when most people have two. Stephen was diagnosed with diabetes in his late twenties. He is 50 years old now, which means that his body has been dealing with the strain of this disease for about 20 years. It has been so difficult for his only kidney, that he was diagnosed with renal failure or kidney failure in 2006.

Ever since the diagnosis, Stephen has been battling for his life. By the grace of God, through great doctors and a strong willingness to see his children grow up, Stephen has weathered many crises. But now it is time to replace his battered kidney. Because of new transplant laws, Stephen's family MUST raise $5,000 to get him on the transplant list. The doctors are urging Stephen to raise the money as quickly as possible. Can you help?
