Eaglecrest Marching Band Uniforms

Hello my name is Jason W. Mabrey and I am the band director at Eaglecrest High School in Centennial Colorado. I am hoping you will consider contributing to the very worthwhile cause of helping the band purchase new marching band uniforms. Please let me take a moment to tell you a little about these wonderful young adults.
The Marching Band is a very active 5A band in the state of Colorado, and consists of 150+ amazing young musicians. Members of the band are AP scholars, athletes, and valedictorians. They are leaders in our community, leaders in the classroom, and most importantly wonderful young adults. They give up countless hours of time to perfect their craft and support EHS and the Cherry Creek School District at many community and school events.
To name just a few, the band performs at every home football game, pep assembly, and spirit function. They have been selected to perform as a feature band in the 9news Parade of Lights 4 times in the last 9 years, and have performed as a feature band in the Southlands holiday parade every year that it has been in existence. In 2013 the band performed at Red Rocks with Big Gigantic in front of 20,000 people over the course of two nights.
The band is in desperate need of new Marching Band uniforms. The current uniforms are 14 years old and are in horrible shape (please know that the expected lifespan of a uniform is 8-10 years). There are also not enough uniforms for the entire band. The Percussion and Sousaphone sections have to wear a different "track suit" type of uniform that doesn't really match the rest of the band. These students work so incredibly hard and no matter how hard they, or the wonderful booster organization, try the band never looks as good as they should. New uniforms would mean the world to these wonderful kids. They would feel a renewed sense of pride and accomplishment if we were able to purchase them. The cost to outfit the entire band is nearly $80,000! Eaglecrest and CCSD will hopefully help with some and that leaves us with about $60,000 to raise. Please consider making a donation to help this amazing group of young men and women.
