Help Find Cure For Sickle Cell

Its Sickle Cell Awareness Month.
I'm Najaam Lee and I live with Sickle Cell Anemia.
My goal for this page is to bring awareness all month to this illness as well as raise money towards helping to find a cure. The goal is to raise at least $1500. by now and the end of this month of September and donate to research and support in the Boston Area. Donation will go to help support SCDAA http://www.sicklecelldisease.org/index.cfm?page=about-scdaa and assist sicklers with things needed for the upcoming winter season.

You can donate any amount you can from $5.00 and up.
Many Sicklers today do not have much support at home & have a very hard time just living and doing normal things. There are some drugs on the market that work to relive some of the pain, but most of the time hospitalization is needed and can be very frequent.
I want us to find a cure that will not have any side effects. A cure that can come from a natural resource that will heal the body instead of harming. This is the mission.
A $1500. may not be much, but it is a start to help bring attention to the masses and start a BIGGER discussion that will make a major difference.
