Ego Deaf - Studio Campaign

Ego Deaf is a long awaited exploration in song writting and collaboration by four friends in Austin, Texas :
Josh Comeaux, Dan Krause, Kasey Rebello, and Justin Babineaux. 


The roots of this project were laid over a decade ago, when Josh Comeaux and Justin Babineaux combined their powerful cajun'ness to begin playing music together. For years they wrote songs together, played countless shows across the country, and developed their musical abilities. Then, they went separate paths for nearly 5 years. 

In 2013 after moving to Austin, Justin walked into a friend's garage after being asked to play a few shows with a band. In that garage was Kasey Rebello behind the drums and Dan Krause on the guitar. Dan and Kasey's musical talent and positive energy was on full display, and there was an immediate connection between the three.

After a few shows, the band needed a new keys player to join the group. Justin made the suggestion of his long time friend Josh, who fell immediately into place with the group. Over the course of the next year, the guys chemistry together grew to magical heights, developing a tighter and higher energy stage performance with every show together. 

After over a year of searching for the right time for everyone, the guys have now started their original collaboration project, titled Ego Deaf. Driven by piano and guitar melodies with Comeaux's hauntingly beautiful voice on top, you can't pinpoint a distinct style for this band. Some of the key inspirations that you may or may not hear include: Ween, My Morning Jacket, The National, and Grandaddy.

$100 = You plus one will be a guest to see the first live performance of Ego Deaf, performing the EP live. That's only 50 a person, and there is more... You will also recieve free food and beer (rumors Dan will be brewing a special batch) while you are hanging out, listening to the EP you helped us record, and then watching the first live performance.
