<div>Je m'appelle Paget Williams. Je fais la promotion de la musique et de la culture au Québec depuis plus de 30 ans autant pour des groupes locaux, régionaux qu’internationaux. Je peine beaucoup à écrire ces quelques lignes compte tenue de l’importance capitale de trouver bon entendeur... Je fais partie d'un petit groupe d'entrepreneurs qui, il y a 2 ans, a acheté une église à Trois-Rivières pour lui donner une nouvelle vie en tant que lieu culturel. Au cours des dernières années, nous nous sommes investis cœurs et âmes dans le projet de transformer une vieille église à Trois-Rivières en un chef-lieu artistique et de musique à la fine pointe de la technologie. Ce projet lui éviterait d'être transformée en condos comme c'est la tendance de nos jours. Malheureusement, nous avons frappé un mur géant en ce qui concerne le financement. Nous n'avons pas été en mesure d'obtenir notre deuxième niveau de financement et, par conséquent, nous avons encore beaucoup de chemin à parcourir. Nous nous attendions à être financés par une banque et nous n'avons pas été eu  à la hauteur. Nous sommes maintenant dans une situation où nous sommes à 30 jours de perdre l'église dû à ces circonstances imprévues et très malheureuses. En tant que personne qui soutient de tout cœur la promotion de la musique et de la culture au Québec depuis plus de 30 ans, je n'ai jamais pensé que je serais dans cette position, mais j'ai besoin de votre soutien aujourd’hui. Je me retrouve dans une position dans laquelle je n’ai pas coutume d’être et je dois demander de l’aide financière de la part du public et ce, rapidement. C'est mon projet « héritage » et de voir tout cela disparaître, après tout ce travail acharné, me tuerait. Nous avons créé ce qu'on appelle Club des Fondateurs. Il s'agit d'une plate-forme qui permettra aux Fondateurs de sauver l’Église des Arts, ce qui lui éviterait d'être transformée en condos et de s'assurer qu’elle atteigne son plein potentiel en permettant aux artistes et au public de profiter de la beauté de ce lieu pour les années à venir. Nous vous proposons une offre extraordinaire, valable à vie, pour ceux qui croient que ce projet est quelque chose de spécial et qu'il profitera à la musique et à la culture de la région.

<div>En toute transparence, voici la réalité de la situation : nous devons amasser 450 000$ d’ici les 2 prochaines semaines grâce à la vente de 900 places exclusives et limitées qui officialiserait votre adhésion à vie au Club des Fondateurs de l'Église des Arts. Les frais d'adhésion sont de 500$ par personne. Il est inclus dans la trousse d'adhésion :

<div>My name is Paget Williams. I am have been promoting independent music and culture in the province of Quebec fro more than 30 years promoting local , regional and international bands. I find it really hard writing this … I am part of a small group of entrepreneurs that 2 years ago purchased a church in Trois Rivieres to give it a new life as a cultural venue. Over the past couple years we have put heart and soul into a venue project that transforms an old church in Trois Rivieres,Qc into a state of the art multi -purpose music and arts venue, thus saving it from being transformed into condos as is the trend… We sadly hit a giant wall in regards to financing . We were unable to obtain our second tier of financing and as a result we owe a load on work done. We were expecting to get $750k from the bank to roll this all and came up short. We are now in a situation where we are 30 days away from losing the church to these unforeseen and very unfortunate circumstances. I am asking as someone who has whole heartedly supported the promotion of music and culture in Quebec for more than 30 years . I didn’t ever think that I would be in this position but I am and I need your , the publics help big time . I have never reached out and asked for help like this . It is not something I am not used to but unfortunately I find myself in a position that requires some very fast acting extra financial help. This is my legacy project and to see it all go away after all the work, sweat and money that has gone into this would kill me.
