Dominic's Fight against RRP

I'm looking for help. My son struggles from a rare disease known as Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis (or RRP for short) it is a disease of the respiratory tract. It causes tumor-like lesions to grow on the larynx and, in some cases, in the trachea and lungs. My son was born with this disease, and will have it for life. He has had a raspy cry/voice since birth. But his voice isn't the only thing affected my son needs to have surgery every 2-3 weeks to prevent his air ways from closing and killing him. On top of this he is at high risk of cancer forming and becoming deadly do to genetics. Now at the age of 3 Dominic has had 9 surgeries since the discovery of his condition in March of 2017. And after each surgery we must stay the nighr in PICU as an additional form of managing his condition. Dominic is very outgoing. He is always happy and steals the heart of everyone he meets. He is strong and very positive. As the nurses take him out of my arms for each surgery and I begin to ball my eyes out he will hug his father and me and say I okay. He has no idea that it's supposed to be our job as the parents to tell him he'll be okay. He has no idea that it's mommy's and daddy's job to make him feel safe and protected. He single handedly put his whole support group at ease. He's an inspiration. We struggle with maintaining our employment, and all of his medical needs we struggle with the fact that his tumors grow at rapid speed and at any moment he could stop breathing. We struggle with that fact that with each surgery there is a chance he won't come home with us. We are trying to raise awareness of his condition in hope that some further research can be done, and to help raise funds for Dominics fight against RRP. Thank you for your support.
