Egbe Iwa Youth With A Purpose

Donation protected
Egbe Iwa Odo'Kunrin/Egbe Iwa Odo'Binrin is a Traditional Rites Of Passage Program, established in June 2002. the program is a year long commitment for
our youth to learn skills which will help them navigate their transition into adulthood. This year's theme exemplifies the spirit and willingness of our young people  to engage in a process of learning, developing friends and discovering who they are in a safe non threatening environment. As part of this journey, a trip to the 20th Annual International Orisa Conference sponsored by the Omo Obatala Egbe Inc. is planned. This will require travel to and from Atlanta Georgia. The Youth are currently researching Elders from the community who have passed on, with the plans to present their finished projects to those in attendance at The Orisa Conference.
Membership in Egbe Iwa is not based on ability to pay, but on the need for guidance, safe space and the love our adolescents need. Towards that end we are raising funds to make this trip possible. No contribution is too small and will be welcomed with heartfelt appreciation
