<div>My husband was unexpectedly detained by ICE during what was supposed to be a routine green card interview. We walked into that appointment hopeful and excited for the next chapter of our lives. Instead, our world changed in an instant.
After being held in detention, my husband was deported. He is no longer here with us, and our family has been separated. Without proper legal help, we now face a difficult and uncertain path as we try to find a way to reunite.
We have a toddler daughter who adores her dad. She doesn’t understand why he’s suddenly gone, and every day she asks for him. I’m doing my best to comfort her while keeping our lives stable, but this situation has put an enormous emotional and financial strain on us.
I am currently pregnant, and facing this situation without my husband has been incredibly overwhelming. I am also a stay-at-home mom and a nursing student, trying to build a better future for our family. With only one income before his detention, and now none, I simply cannot afford the legal fees required to continue fighting his case and explore options for bringing him back. Immigration attorneys require large payments upfront, and without help, I’m terrified of not being able to reunite our family.
The funds raised will go directly toward immigration attorney fees, filing motions and appeals, obtaining required documents and records, as well as any phone calls or possible travel to stay connected with him and work toward reunification. My husband is a loving father, a hardworking man, and the heart of our home. Our daughter deserves to grow up with her dad in her life, and our baby deserves the chance to meet their father. We just want a fair chance to keep our family together again.

Después de haber estado detenido, mi esposo fue deportado. Ya no está aquí con nosotros, y nuestra familia ha sido separada. Sin la ayuda legal adecuada, ahora enfrentamos un camino difícil e incierto mientras tratamos de encontrar la manera de reunirnos nuevamente.
Tenemos una hija pequeña que adora a su papá. Ella no entiende por qué de repente ya no está, y todos los días pregunta por él. Estoy haciendo todo lo posible por consolarla y mantener nuestras vidas estables, pero esta situación ha puesto una enorme carga emocional y financiera sobre nosotros.
