Help Dan Lantonio beat Colon cancer.
To anyone who knows Dan, his kind hearted, energetic, and fun loving personality make him a joy to be around. Dan has been a positive force in so many of our lives, as a loving husband to Sandra, dedicated member of the Lantonio family, and close friend to so many.
Unfortunately, in late August Dan was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. In early September, he underwent surgery, and just last week started his first round of chemotherapy. He is scheduled for more surgery in the near future.
While all of this might seem daunting to most, Dan remains resolute in the fight against his diagnosis. He continues his barbecue business on weekends with the help of his brothers and family who have come from afar each weekend to lend a helping hand. It's his positive attitude entering this challenging time that leaves us all feeling hopeful for his recovery.
That said, as of late, recent financial challenges have emerged. Due to unforeseeable complications with insurance protocol, the insurer has declined coverage for Dan, leaving Go Fund Me as our only option. To anyone who knows Dan, and to those who sympathize with him in this difficult time, all donations — of all sizes — are sincerely appreciated. We are confident that Dan will be able to win this battle, and appreciate everyones support.
