I was rescued from flood waters that entered my home on Houston's North side. We are a family of 5, my daughter, her husband and 2 small children, 10 months old and 4 years old. The flood level came to 8 feet inside of our home. We lost everything, including our vehicles.
I need assistance in paying for a new residence and a vehicle. We all are in a hotel right now, but this will end soon. I've worked hard all of my life and intend to keep doing so as long as The Good Lord allows. I'm 59 years old and don't mind starting over, but it is overwhelming.
This seed can jump start our new beginning and allow me to get transportation and continue earning a living and open my restaurant so that I can be a blessing to my family and my community.
