Keeping the family legacy

I am blessed to have a piece of property that has been in my family since 1912.

Many people can’t buy land today due to the enormous cost of land, much less
what it takes to keep it... ie taxes,
insurance, equipment, maintenance etc.

I am a nearly 50 year old single woman
who is on her second career and chose
nursing.

However on the weekends my time is
spent tending to wildlife on our family
place. Sadly these days many farms and
ranches are sold as younger generations  opt to move into the city and not work in agriculture! Those farms and ranches are subdivided into smaller tracts of land and while I understand the desire to get out
and enjoy the great outdoors, often the
tracts of land are so small there is no
incentive to manage wildlife and too
small to have
their own livestock.
Developers are concerned with profits
and not concerned
with the implications in has on the
animals, the land, resources or how it
impacts the neighbors and community.

The only thing I can control is what we
do on our own property!

This is why I am trying to raise money to help build a high fence.
The high fence won’t be around the
entire property just along the side of the
subdivided land ( approximately a mile).
Having this high fence will
help me insure the legacy’s of my
fore fathers and allow me to manage the
wildlife better. It might sound like a
daunting and very physical  task but I will work tirelessly to help
preserve the wildlife and this family land I was blessed to inherit and driven to
protect.
Any donation is appreciated! Thank you
for taking the time to read my story.
