Help Jose! Ayuden a Jose! 2020,2021, 2022

Hi, my name is Jose Olivera, and I've been living in Miami for many years. I arrived from Cuba with the Marielitos, and I was dropped off at the railroad tracks at 67th Ave because it was not economically feasible to tend to my medical needs.  From there, I made my way to the Biltmore Hotel, as I assumed that the tall tower belonged to a church that could help me.  I ended up down the street in the Church of the Little Flower, where the parishioners, the pastor, and the Carmelites welcomed me with open arms.  I am currently battling a very aggressive cancer and am constantly visiting Jackson for emergency medial care and surgeries.  When I'm not sleeping in the hospital, I alternate between sleeping on the street and inside a car garage.  The car garage has many fumes which aggravate my respiratory ailments and I spend more time outdoors than outdoors.  I also have no space to stay during the day, as the garage needs to be vacated by 5 A. M. daily . Whereas in the past I would do odd jobs to earn some money, my health has now deteriorated to the point in which I can not even walk without a cane. ***** Campaign for 2020 & 2021*****On Saturday February 22, I had the blessing of moving into a room which I am renting.  My fellow parishioners have been gracious enough to find me this place to stay, and the parish is helping as well, but I need your help to complete my monthly rent payments and cover my food expenses.  The breakdown of my monthly expenses is the following: $400/month to help cover rent $250/month for food x 24 months= $15,600 Thank you, my dear brothers and sisters, for your help. I pray for you every day. May God bless you! ***** This campaign is organized by a group of parishioners at the Little Flower who have been steadily helping Jose with his monthly expenses.  Now that Jose is off the streets, we need your help to cover Jose's additional expenses. Campaign updated to cover two years: 2020 and 2021.
