A bit about "B" and why we need help with "Go Fund Me" and other fundraising opportunities
https://www.gofundme.com/EeveetheServiceDog

Meet “B”! She is a fun loving toddler and is 2 years old. “B” has had a rough start to life. She is currently a foster child and has been with us, her foster family since she was a few months old. Just recently parental rights have been terminated and we, her foster family have begun the steps needed to legally adopt her, even though we feel she has been a member of the family from the start. Unfortunately, Sweet “B” also has some severe medical problems we have been seeking treatment for.“B” has been diagnosed with Epilepsy which also causes problems with her heart directly following her epileptic seizures. Unfortunately her form of epilepsy isn’t one she will possibly grow out of, and it may get progressively worse. “B”s Neurologist has recommended a seizure alert/response service dog. This service dog will be scent trained to alert her family caregivers and school caregivers when “B” is going to have a seizure, retrieving medication, and assisting “B” through Deep pressure therapy and tactile stimulation as she is recovering from her seizures. Her service dog, which is an Aussiedoodle named Eevee, will be able to go anywhere “B” goes to be able to assist her, even sleeping in her room to alert her caregivers of an oncoming seizure in the middle of the night.

A company has been located to train a dog for “B”, which is a feat in itself as many companies will not train a service dog for children under 14 years old. "Michigan Service Dogs LLC ” will be training Eevee and have a tremendous track record of success with many of the Service dogs they have trained in the past. This type of specialty training is not cheap and takes around 18 months to complete. Eevee is coming from a proven breeder of quality dogs and successful service dogs which comes at a premium. Then her training is an additional $400 a month. None of that includes the medical services for Eevee; I.e. shots, heartworm prevention, worming tests and treatment (puppies tend to put everything in their mouth, so de-worming is standard), flea and tick meds, grooming, crate, harness, training treats, toys, etc.

We are reaching out to the public and community for help with these costs. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we are finding how true that actually is. We are truly grateful for any assistance you are able to provide our family. Monetary donations through our GoFundMe are greatly appreciated.

We also would love items to be able to auction online or at an event, or have opportunities for fundraising events, we are even willing to set up a table/display to request donations.
Any help you can give, no matter how small will be of great help for our family. Please feel free to contact us through this page or by email. Thank You!!
