I was in a car accident on September 18. I was at a stop sign when a the driver of a truck struck me from behind doing between 40 to 50 mph. We both pulled to the side of the road. As soon as I mentioned that I was calling the police, he insisted he had several warrants for his arrest, got confrontational and then ran to his truck and left. I was unable to get his tag.The police show up and report it as a hit and run. The brute force of the accident has forced me to go into emergency spinal surgery this Tuesday morning. Because of it being a hit and run, my attorney is going through my uninsured motorist policy. The only problem is my uninsured motorist policy only has a cap of 25000 dollars. My procedure has been discounted so I can have it done. I will be out of work for several months in bed recuperating and have no way to bring in an income. We have used all of the funds for the settlement on my back surgery, and I do not qualify for temporary disability because my injury will not last the duration of their minimum requirement. I have a family to take care of the next few months and I'm on intense  bed rest. We are asking for small donations to help get us through until I'm recovered and able to return to work. I wanted to send anna back to work for the time being, but I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old I cannot get out of bed to tend to. Thankyou for any small contribution you may be able to make.
